Emma specialises in development planning, with particular expertise in contentious planning matters including judicial reviews, statutory challenges and planning appeals. Emma has frequently undertaken an active role at planning inquiries advocating on behalf of clients during the section 106 agreement round table session and CIL compliance matters.
Emma has a strong track record in negotiating complex Section 106 agreements and leading on strategic projects. Emma has advised across a number of large mixed-use sites, including drafting complex section 106 agreements. For example, Emma led on the drafting for one of London’s largest estate regeneration scheme to deliver over 2,000 new and refurbished residential dwellings as well as associated community infrastructure.
