James leads client development, legal resourcing strategy and the growth of flexible legal services across the UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Pinsent Masons, James held senior leadership roles at Flex Legal and Eversheds Sutherland's Konexo business, where he helped launch and build one of the UK's leading alternative legal services and resourcing platforms, growing revenues YoY and leading teams supporting hundreds of consultants and major corporate clients.
With more than 20 years' experience spanning legal services, consulting, operations and business transformation, James specialises in helping in-house legal teams improve performance, manage change and access flexible talent solutions. He is particularly recognised for his expertise in legal operations, legal strategy, technology-enabled transformation and innovative operating models that help legal functions deliver greater value, efficiency and commercial impact
