Martin advises developers, investors and other stakeholders on various issues relating to the regulation, financing, development, operation, sale and purchase of energy and utilities projects. He is an expert in dealing with regulatory matters and disputes, having worked for industry and regulatory authorities.
Martin is a Managing Senior Associate in the firm’s Energy team. His focus is on the energy and utilities sectors, with a specialisation in regulatory matters and previous experience advising Ofgem as in-house counsel. Martin advises developers, investors and other stakeholders on various issues relating to the regulation, financing, development, operation, sale and purchase of energy and utilities projects. Following a Master’s in law focusing on business regulation at New York University, Martin has gained extensive experience in regulation by spending over five years in various positions of seniority with Ofgem and through previous experiences with the European Commission’s competition directorate and a major international law firm in its Brussels competition practice.
