Ross leads our UK Environment team and has over 20 years’ experience of advising across the UK on all aspects of environmental law, including contaminated land, regulatory enforcement and civil sanctions, environmental permitting, waste, and emissions trading.

Advising bp on all the consenting, environmental, and permitting aspects of the Net Zero Teesside and Northern Endurance Partnership, a nationally significant low-carbon power and CCS project. Also advising on bp’s Teesside hydrogen portfolio, including HyGreen (green hydrogen) and H2Teesside (blue hydrogen), the latter expected to deliver over 10% of the UK’s 2030 low-carbon hydrogen target.
