    Advised LSE on a claim for discrimination and personal injury against the school after Dr Piepenbrock, a lecturer at LSE, left the school on ill health grounds and allegations of sexual harassment were made against him by a post graduate student. The claim was rejected by the High Court in 2018. Dr Piepenbrock took issue with coverage of the High Court case in the Daily Mail and alleged that LSE had conspired to provide false and misleading statements in the article (quoted anonymously). Dr Piepenbrock issued a claim for defamation and related loss and injury. We acted for LSE on all aspects of this case.

    Advised an Indian telecommunications company on the introduction of global bonus and sales incentive plans and negotiations on shop agreements, including the implementation of, and representation in arbitration proceedings. This included advice on strategic planning concerning the termination of employment relationships and representation before the labour court of Frankfurt am Main in several proceedings regarding claims for variable compensation under the existing sales incentive plans.
