Pinsent Masons continues to expand in Düsseldorf with appointment of Peter Christ

International law firm Pinsent Masons continues to expand its fledgling Düsseldorf office with the appointment of Peter Christ as Partner.

A specialist in employment law within the energy and life sciences sectors, Peter joins with three lawyers from Clifford Chance. Other areas of Peter´s practice include compliance and related employment data protection issues.

With more than 10 years of experience, Peter Christ joins Pinsent Masons to develop the employment practice in the rapidly expanding Düsseldorf office and strengthen the employment group in Europe. Peter has a wealth of experience in advising multinational life sciences firms and leading energy suppliers.

The Düsseldorf office of Pinsent Masons launched in February 2016 with a three-partner energy team around office head Dr. Thorsten Volz. Since then, M&A expert Dr. Torsten Bergau and life sciences and university specialist Dr. Anke Empting have joined. With the arrival of Peter Christ and only 4 months after the office has opened its doors the Düsseldorf team has 20 lawyers including 6 partners.

The German practice of Pinsent Masons in Munich and Düsseldorf currently has approx. 70 lawyers including 22 partners. The German practice is focused on cutting edge legal services in the areas of technology, life sciences and energy.
