Nick Keller, Chairman of the Sport Industry Group, said: "It gives me great pleasure to welcome Pinsent Masons into this partnership with the Sport Industry Group and as Official Category Sponsor of the Sport Industry Award for Sport Brand of the Year. It is fitting that the Award, one of the most fiercely contested of the Sport Industry Awards, should be linked to one of the strongest brands in the legal field."

Trevor Watkins, Head of Sport at Pinsent Masons, said: “We are delighted to enter into this long-term partnership with the Sport Industry Group. It brings together two dynamic, innovative and market leading organisations that are regarded as leaders within the sport industry. Our decision to partner with The Sport Industry Awards reflects the confidence we have in the strength of their brand and the opportunities we can create together. Given that the roll of honour for Sport Brand of the Year includes some of the most powerful brands in the world it gives me great pleasure to place Pinsent Masons alongside the likes of Adidas, Manchester United FC and the calibre of other partners of the Sport Industry Group.  I look forward to seeing which brands add their names to that list in 2012.”
