Pinsent Masons advises Cathexis on acquisition of Jones Engineering

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Cathexis Holdings, LP on the acquisition of Jones Engineering Holdings International Limited.

Jones Engineering is a global company that focuses on large-scale infrastructure projects in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, IT and data-centre industries. Founded in 1890, it is headquartered in Ireland and employs over 4,000 people globally (over 2,000 in Ireland).

The team at Pinsent Masons was led by corporate partners Gerry Beausang and Oisín McLoughlin.

Commenting on the deal, Gerry Beausang said:

“We are proud to have supported Cathexis on this acquisition, which adds to our track record in carrying out significant M&A mandates in the Irish market.”

The transaction follows on from Cathexis’s acquisitions of ESS Group and Leo Lynch & Co. Limited, on which the firm also advised, led by corporate partner Neil Keenan.
