Galliford’s Partnerships business has won the contract to build the development, which consists of dwellings and a primary school, on the Brook House site in Tottenham.
The Construction Index reported that Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald commented: "Our record in regeneration projects means we are recognised as a contractor of choice, and we are delighted that Newlon have chosen us to go ahead with this significant project. We look forward to working with Newlon to build these community facilities that will bring considerable benefit to the area."
Planning permission was granted in February 2013. The firm has stated construction will start in June with completion expected in the middle of 2015.
