Developer Lend Lease has submitted a reserved matters application to the London Legacy Development Corporation for the construction of two residential towers in Stratford City's International Quarter.

The proposed towers will reach 30 and 17 storeys overlooking the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and comprise 332 flats.

They are part of Lend Lease's £2 billion mixed-use International Quarter scheme which will also provide offices, a hotel, community facilities and open space across a 22 acre site.

In July, a Starboard Hotels joint venture purchased the hotel site within the Quarter from Lend Lease, with plans for a 275,000 square feet hotel complex.

Lend Lease said in a statement that, subject to planning consent, they are hoping for the new homes in the towers to go on the market early next year.
