Amin is a construction advisory dispute specialist who represents employers, contractors and subcontractors in international arbitration across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Amin is part of the Construction Advisory and Dispute team and focuses on contentious matters arising from large scale infrastructure and energy projects in the Middle East. He advises on complex claims involving delay, disruption, variations, terminations and defects and has experience preparing and defending claims for prolongation costs, acceleration and liquidated damages. Amin has acted in proceedings governed by both civil and common law and is familiar with procedural practices before tribunals seated in the Middle East. His work spans desalination plats, power generation facilities, substations, oil and gas facilities, transport infrastructure and real estate developments. He is fluent in Arabic and previously worked in London, giving him a strong cross-border perspective when advising clients in international arbitrations.
