Andrew is a commercial lawyer and specialises in commercial contracts, mergers and collaborative arrangements, and a variety of other commercial agreements. He primarily works in the Universities and Higher Education sector, advising both traditional universities and private sector education providers.
Andrew regularly advises universities in relation to commercial contracts, mergers and collaborative arrangements, as well as advising higher education providers on regulatory matters, including in relation to the Office for Students registration process.
Andrew has particular experience in advising on consumer law compliance in the HE sector and regularly delivers training sessions on the topic to clients and sector bodies. He also advises education and training providers (as well as employers) in relation to apprenticeships, and the complex apprenticeship regulations.
Another key area of Andrew's work is advising on strategic commercial contracts on large corporate transactions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of supply agreements, including transitional services agreements.
