Jacob is a civil litigator specialising in disputes in the financial services sector and in contentious insolvency matters.
Jacob has extensive experience defending clients, particularly financial services institutions, against high volume claims. This includes advising on strategies for the management of individual claims and acting on test cases before the appeal courts. He also has experience defending applications for group litigation orders.
Jacob regularly advises banks on claims arising out of authorised push payment fraud.
Jacob also advises clients (including officeholders) on complex insolvency applications and in contentious matters involving questions of insolvency law.
Jacob is qualified in England & Wales and in Scotland.
