Mayumi advises a wide range of clients, from start-ups to multinational corporations and sovereign wealth funds on a range of corporate and commercial issues, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, fund raising, equity capital markets, and employment law.
Mayumi's practice has an international outlook and she regularly works on cross-border matters. She is experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements throughout an M&A or fund-raising transaction. She is also familiar with equity capital markets, allowing her to provide strategic advice to businesses.
Mayumi also provides employment law advice to clients, and she has experience advising on the whole life cycle of an employment relationship, from hiring, managing the employment, to termination and retrenchment exercises. Her pragmatic and commercial approach to providing legal advice ensures that her clients receive accurate and reliable advice and that their best interests are always protected.
