Yuji is a US-qualified senior associate advising corporates, investment banks, shareholders and funds on cross-border corporate finance transactions, M&A and US securities regulatory compliance. Yuji also advises on US aspects of certain finance transactions.
Yuji has significant experience delivering legal and other strategic advice to investment banks, corporates, investment funds and sovereigns on high-value international corporate finance transactions. She has acted on and led complex equity offerings (e.g., IPOs, rights issues and other secondary structures, SPACs), debt offerings (e.g., investment grade and high yield, including sovereign debt) and M&A transactions. Her work has spanned a number of industries (e.g., energy, retail/consumer, financial services, real estate, aviation) and geographies throughout the UK, EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Yuji takes pride in working closely with clients to find commercially-driven, practical solutions to legal issues, and she consistently strives for the highest standards in client-centred transaction management and execution. Prior to joining Pinsent Masons, Yuji worked with another international law firm for nine years and practiced in its London, Singapore and Hong Kong offices.
