International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised the shareholders and management of Marsh & Parsons on its acquisition by LSL Property Services plc, a listed residential property services provider, for £50m.
Marsh & Parsons, a leading London based estate agency, has doubled office numbers over the past six years and has increased turnover fivefold. The business was overall winner in the prestigious Sunday Times ‘National Estate Agency of the Year’ awards in 2010.
The Pinsent Masons team advising on the deal was led by corporate partner Stephen Levy and senior associates Joanne McNeill and Jonathan Snade.
Stephen Levy commented: "'The great strength of Marsh & Parsons' business and management team and the continuing resilience of the London residential real estate market made this deal possible despite the otherwise challenging market. It was a pleasure to assist shareholders Sherry FitzGerald (Ireland´s largest property and mortgage advisory firm), Peter Rollings and Liza-Jane Kelly who have worked together to build the business into one of London's premium estate agency brands. We wish Peter and Liza-Jane every success as they work with LSL Property Services to grow the business further.”
