International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised fully listed Redefine International P.L.C. (Redefine) on a proposed Firm Placing and Open Offer to raise £127.5 million.
The fundraising represents a significant step in Redefine's growth. The net proceeds of the fundraising will be used to reduce the Group's indebtedness and to take advantage of distressed and/or attractive investment opportunities.
Redefine International P.L.C. is a hybrid property investment company with exposure to a broad range of properties, listed property securities and geographical areas.
The Pinsent Masons team was led by corporate partner Howard Gill and included corporate partner Sean Page, associates James Thompson, Matthew Parker and corporate lawyers Lisa McMullen and Jade Ginger.
Howard Gill commented: "We are delighted to continue to advise our long standing client following Redefine's reverse takeover with Wichford PLC last year. This major fundraising will place Redefine on a firm footing to drive the next stage of the Group's growth. The Pinsent Masons team has also historically advised Redefine on the £106million acquisition of a branded hotel portfolio and on the acquisition of a number of shopping centres."
