International law firm Pinsent Masons has won the 'HR team of the year' category at The Lawyer Management Awards 2013.

The prestigious 'HR team of the year' accolade is awarded to the HR team which judges deem to have made the most significant contribution towards the overall continued success of their firm throughout the year.

Pinsent Masons fought off fierce competition from Baker & McKenzie, Olswang, Shearman & Sterling, Taylor Wessing and Withers to claim the prize.

Commenting on the win Jonathan Bond, Director of HR and Learning at Pinsent Masons, said:

"We are delighted that the HR & Learning team has received this recognition. It has been a transformational year for the business following the merger with McGrigors and new office openings in Paris, Munich and Istanbul. Throughout that time the team has worked exceptionally hard and I am very proud that contribution has been recognised by the judges."
