International law firm Pinsent Masons has enhanced its real estate sector capability with the appointment of Anthony Newton as Partner in its Development and Investment team.
Anthony is joining from Hogan Lovells, where he spent 10 years in the London Real Estate Group working on investment, development and occupational matters.
Over the past four years, Anthony has been focused on the growing alternative assets sector. He has been working particularly in the private rented sector (PRS) and student accommodation markets where he has extensive experience in investment purchases and development fundings, both from a direct-let and secure income perspective.

Anthony is a member of the Investment Property Forum and Cambridge Land Society, and is the current co-editor of the third edition of the Global Legal Insights handbook on Commercial Real Estate.
