BrexIP - What IP rights holders need to know about the end of the Brexit transition period, and beyond

The second session of our IP webinar series will focus on the impact of the end of the Brexit transition period on the IP landscape in the EU and UK.

In this session, we will explore the following:

• What will change on 1 January 2021?
• What are the immediate practical issues to solve?
• What does the future hold in terms of divergence between the IP regimes in the UK and EU and what does this mean for business?

Our pan-European panel of Pinsent Masons’ IP and trade mark experts, Ann Henry (Ireland), Nils Rauer (Germany) and Florian Traub (UK) will also discuss the related issues around Brexit in both online and offline worlds. There will be a debate on the immediate tactical steps for the remainder of the transition period and beyond, and the medium term ‘big picture’ considerations around IP portfolio management and enforcement.

The webinar is timely coming at the very beginning of November, by which time we hope to have more certainty around the future trading relationship between the UK and EU.
