Justyna Machnicka

Justyna provides advice on cross-border projects and supports financial institutions and borrowers across multiple jurisdictions. Her practice includes advising Polish and international banks, banking syndicates and borrowers on project finance, acquisition finance, as well as the financing and refinancing of real estate acquisitions and construction projects.
Justyna is an advocate in the Banking and Finance Department. Her practice focuses in particular on domestic and cross-border corporate financing transactions as well as real estate projects, including financing and refinancing the construction of shopping centres, office buildings and residential investments. She has also advised on numerous renewable energy (RES) financing transactions.
She has represented clients on both sides of complex financing transactions – acting for the largest Polish and foreign banks on the lenders' side, and for Polish and foreign listed companies, real estate funds, private equity funds and private investors on the borrowers' side.
She is involved in conducting financing transactions, and her experience includes drafting and negotiating financing documentation, also in accordance with LMA standards, in particular loan and credit agreements, term sheets and security documents, preparing legal opinions and memoranda, as well as coordinating and supervising the process of collecting and verifying documents constituting conditions for disbursement.
