Katy McBride

Katy is a finance lawyer advising lenders and borrowers on a broad range of domestic and cross‑border financing transactions. Her experience covers real estate finance, general corporate lending and asset‑based structures, including receivables, inventory and borrowing‑base arrangements. She regularly leads on the negotiation and drafting of both bilateral and syndicated facility agreements -often based on LMA standards - as well as intercreditor arrangements and security packages tailored for Scotland.

She manages transactions from initial structuring through to completion, coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams across finance, property, construction and tax. She also works with clients entering the Scottish market, helping refine or develop finance products to meet commercial, sector‑specific and jurisdictional requirements.
