With a specialisation in banking, finance, and (re)insurance law, Laurine provides counsel to financial institutions, (re)insurance companies, asset managers and multinationals on a wide range of matters including insurance and reinsurance, securitisation, bank lending, capital markets, structured finance, and regulatory transactions.
Laurine frequently assists securitisation companies, managing securitisation transactions. She also works on financial transactions and represents both lenders and borrowers, particularly when Luxembourg companies are involved. In addition, she assists insurance and reinsurance companies with regulatory obligations and the regulatory framework.
She has worked on acquisitions of reinsurance captives, including subsequent mergers, and is adept at handling notifications to the Commissariat aux Assurance (CAA) and the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).
