Lois is a tax solicitor and chartered tax adviser with a broad range of tax experience, particularly focusing on M&A, real estate tax and employee share schemes.
Lois has experience advising local and international clients in a wide variety of sectors. She is experienced in advising on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions and other investments, advising on portfolio matters for private equity-backed clients. Lois also acts for a range of real estate clients including local authorities, funds, investors and universities advising them on property tax matters, including private rented sector / build-to-rent developments and student accommodation. She also has experience advising clients on employment related-securities and share incentive matters. Lois is dual qualified, as a solicitor and chartered tax adviser.

The transaction spanned Singapore, France, the UK, the US and Australia, requiring multi-jurisdictional coordination. Technology tools supported due diligence, transaction management and vendor review processes to enhance efficiency and confidentiality.

Advised CareTrust REIT, Inc on their acquisition of Alpha Care Home Group, a UK care home portfolio. The deal involved collaboration with Kinly Care to operate the care homes. This is CareTrust REIT's second UK acquisition in the past year, enhancing their healthcare real estate portfolio with plans for growth in 2026 and beyond. The transaction included a propco acquisition, a multi-stage wholeco acquisition, a subsequent hive out, and new triple net leases for each home.
