Sam specialises on transactional, non-contentious restructuring work across multiple sectors, with particular expertise in energy and education. She advises insolvency practitioners, lenders and buyers on restructuring and refinance strategies, asset sale and purchases and the implications of insolvency processes.
Sam is a senior lawyer in the Restructuring practice experienced in advising lenders and insolvency practitioners on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters across multiple sectors. She works alongside financial advisers to develop practical and achievable contingency plans and restructuring strategies for financially distressed entities, with a specialism in transactional business and asset disposals. Sam also has significant experience in assisting lenders with options analysis and implementation of security enforcement and asset disposals, and advises purchasers of business and assets from insolvency practitioners out of administration.
Sam's advisory work includes advising on and the implementation of complex turnaround and restructuring transactions by those facing operational and financial distress. Sam has significant experience working across all sectors but has a particular focus and expertise in the energy, education, construction and manufacturing sectors.
