She brings extensive experience advising national and international clients across all legal disciplines involved in the acquisition and development of renewable energy and real estate projects, including M&A transactions, corporate law and commercial contracts.
María has a strong background providing advice in the acquisition and development of renewable energy and real estate projects and is highly skilled in negotiating and drafting of SPAs and sector-specific agreements such as management agreements and O&M agreements.
Before joining Pinsent Masons, María worked at prestigious private equity firms and law firms, where she gained broad experience in the energy and real estate sector. She has advised on major transactions including the acquisition of large-scale photovoltaic projects, the sale of wind assets, the development of energy transition and climate change initiatives and the acquisition of real estate assets across multiple jurisdictions. Her expertise spans transactional structuring, corporate reorganisations, financing, and general corporate matters, providing clients with comprehensive and cross-disciplinary legal support.
