Rebecca specialises in the Higher Education sector, advising universities, higher and further education institutions and private education providers in relation to constitutional and corporate governance and compliance, joint ventures, mergers and disposals, international collaborations, student unions and corporate structures.
Rebecca qualified and worked for 10 years as a corporate lawyer at a national firm, followed by six years acting as the University Solicitor at the University of Huddersfield, during which time she spent two years as Chair of the Association of University Legal Practitioners. When advising clients, Rebecca is able to apply both her legal experience and the knowledge gained from working within the sector to provide a comprehensive and effective service.
