Sammy has been assisting internationally in the cross-border litigation of one of the largest claims ever brought before the UK Courts (and indeed in other Courts around the globe). He is a UK-qualified barrister-at-law and has extensive experience acting before the DIFC Courts in Dubai and of LCIA and ICC Rules Arbitration which he has arbitrated from cradle to grave (including mediation). His span of work includes advising and litigating disputes involving Banking and Finance, Commercial Fraud, Commercial Joint Ventures (for example insurer / re-insurer and franchisor disputes), Hospitality, Media and Sport, Oil & Gas, Military and Defence and Telecommunications disputes. He is a fluent Arabic speaker and commands the trust and loyalty of clients in the Middle East. He is a valuable bridge between the common and civil law jurisdictions that co-exist in the UAE, and is able to advise on and direct disputes seamlessly between both.
