Transgourmet Group is further developing its digital catering management in the care sector.
Pinsent Masons advised Transgourmet Group on the acquisition of the operational business of German-Austrian Sanalogic Group. Sanalogic is one of the leading companies in the development, implementation and support of complete software solutions for IT-supported catering management in the care sector (healthcare, in particular hospitals, specialist and rehabilitation clinics, sanatoria as well as nursing and retirement homes) and with its software products covers the entire catering process from food planning to menu request recording, production control and delivery to purchasing. Sanalogic provides services to customers in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. With the takeover, Transgourmet intends to further expand its long-standing cooperation with Sanalogic both in sales and development and to actively shape technical progress and the automation of processes for the benefit of its customers.
The German Transgourmet Group belongs to the Swiss Coop Group and is a leading multi-channel provider in the field of pick-up and delivery wholesale for customers in the catering, hotel business, company catering, social facilities, retail and other trades. The brand includes the specialists "Transgourmet" for delivery, "Selgros Cash & Carry" for pick-up and "Transgourmet Cash & Carry" as regional pick-up format with delivery.
