International law firm Pinsent Masons was listed in the top tier for 3 categories in a recent survey conducted by Asian-mena Counsel’s In-House Community to identify Firms of the Year 2019 for the second consecutive year.

Over 3,736 in-house lawyers in 12 jurisdictions were asked to rate firms across a number of practice areas.

Pinsent Masons was recognised for:

  • International Arbitration

  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution

  • Real Estate/Construction

In-house counsel were able to nominate any firm of their acquaintance and were asked for their comments on the quality and value of service they received from external counsel in their jurisdiction and, where applicable, in other jurisdictions, as well as which firms they prefer to use for various activities. In this 13th annual survey, the results are said by the organisers, who publish industry publication Asian-mena Counsel and who established The In-House Community, to indicate those teams “whose service has been of notable quality and which have been responsive to their clients’ needs beyond the norm”.

Vincent Connor, Head of Pinsent Masons' Hong Kong office said, "It’s a genuine thrill to be recognised in the top tier for our Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Construction capabilities and it’s all due to the support of our loyal clients and the commitment of our amazing teams. Over our 37 years in Hong Kong we’ve advised our clients throughout many challenging economic times, and understand that is is quality, value and responsiveness along with increasingly innovative delivery solutions that is required in these circumstances.”

Dr Dean Lewis, who is Global Co-Head of the firm’s International Arbitration practice said, “We’re honoured and excited to receive top tier recognition in the International Arbitration Firm of the Year category. International Arbitration is a major area of focus for our firm and this endorsement from our client community reinforces our commitment to investment in this area across the world.”
