Annelle specialises in employment law and dispute resolution. She advises employers across a variety of sectors on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of individual and collective employment law.

Annelle's experience includes advising clients on retrenchments, unfair and constructive dismissals, unfair labour practices, sexual harassment, discrimination, occupational health and safety, employee transfers, and debarment under the FAIS Act. Annelle has drafted and developed employment contracts and workplace policies and procedures, and regularly advises clients on compliance with South African employment legislation and best practices. Annelle has extensive experience in conducting employee-relations investigations and has represented clients in various Courts and Tribunals. Her litigation experience includes obtaining interdicts against strike and protest action and the enforcement of restraint-of-trade agreements.

In addition to her employment law expertise, Annelle has experience in general corporate and commercial practice. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including contract drafting, compliance, company law and shareholder arrangements. She has participated in numerous due diligence investigations for domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
